NAOMI BEDFORD, Jonah Hex's singer, hails from Putney, but now lives in Brighton. She's been involved in many musical projects including session work and girl bands (more Ronnetts than Spice Girls). Naomi got her first guitar at 13... "my next door neighbour was Andy Summers, Guitarist with The Police, who taught me my first two chords". She grew up on a heavy diet of Dolly Parton and The Clash, and along with these would site Kate Rusby, and Wilco as amongst her favourite artists. Her first live performance was singing with the "new wave of new wave" band S*M*A*S*H, who had a brief touch of fame in the mid 90's. And, her debut TV appearance was on the Joois Holland show 'Later...', singing with the dance band Orbital. Her lead vocals appear on the most recent ORBITAL single,'Funny Break' One is Enough.

ANDY BRAMLEY is one of Jonah Hex's guitarists and the main songwriter for the band. He was born in Margate, Kent. His influences span the music spectrum and include the Waterboys, Todd Rungren, 10,000 Maniacs all the way through to The Jam, Moterhead and UFO. He has played in many bands, none of which would spring to mind, but he considers them all a great learning curve for mastering song writing.

DARREN LYNCH Darren's self-taught musical journey began when he bought a tin whistle with money intended to buy a birthday present for this first girlfriend. Next came a bout with 'Anna', the noise merchants who put some backbone into the Go discs roster. There followed a number of subsequent ventures with influences ranging from the first Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds album ... to the second. Darren now applies his guitar to the music of Jonah Hex because (Quoting Beach Boy overlord Brion Wilson) "I want to make music that makes people feel loved" Amen.

DONNA EDMEAD is Jonah Hex's second singer and she cut her musical teeth at 17 with an all girl funk pop group. Singing with various guitar bands while at college in London, she returned to Birmingham after graduation. It was here that she successfully persuaded the cappella group 'Black Voices' for a radio interview, singing down the telephone to the groups leader she secured both radio interview and an interest which resulted in her place in the group. Donna left to return to London where she met the other members of Jonah Hex.

RACHEL WICKHAM plays both keyboards and Oboe in the band. Rachel is a classically trained oboist and pianist who studied music at Bristol University and ethnomusicology at the school of Oriental and African Studies in London. She currently plays in various semi- Professional orchestras in London and Surrey. and does some session and other "paid" playing from time to time. She was previously a member of the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain. She has an eclectic musical taste ranging from classical music to world and fusion music (including Tolvin singh, Nitin sawhnoy and The Afro Celt Sound System)

CRAIG BACKWAY plays drums and is the true southener of jonah Hex and its most recent addition is the man from down under. Craig Backway. Heralding from the back blocks of Melbourne Australia, this multifaceted drummer has come from a background of vegemite, Aussie rules football and an appreciation of tribal aboriginal rhythms. Australia saw Craig's development as a percussionist in a host of groups covering a broad spectrum of musical appreciation's from rock, pop, and fusion to jazz. He has been an English resident for the lost 12 years, and plans to fulfil his musical ambitions through Jonah Hex and an assortment of musical collaborations. His musical influences are too numerous to mention thus his contribution too. His sound is vast and eclectically steeped with as much variations as possible. Kit Chaos generally reigns supreme when talents of Craig and Andy (Bassist) take to the stage. Hold on for the ride!!

ANDY STARK is to bass playing what Sadam Hussein is to world peace. Andy's mix of punchy orchestral stabs, blending with harmonious accompaniment gives Jonah Hex the unpredictable edge. God knows Andy's background in his classical training, but who cares. Mr Stark looks forward to a bright musical future in the progression of his two year old becoming a future roadie and technician, but presently bass amps are too heavy and her base knowledge of electrical componentry is not up to scratch. Syncing with the mad Ausiralions percussive abilities, the Jonah Hex project will see great diversity in musical influence.
